Is it ok for me to take the value cover off for about a week to get powder coated, without me getting screwd?

i dont see why not if you're in a climate that permits a week without rain/moisture. it's mostly just there as a beauty panel and to keep the plugs and coils dry.

it's not actually a valve cover at all, as much as it is simply a spark plug cover ;)

If your taking the whole cover off?!?!,get a suitable cover(like a rubbish bag) and tape it to the head after removal so dust doesnt get in.

Are you removing the whole valve cover,or just the spark plug/coil cover?

if you are removing the whole cover the vehicle will not be usable,so the engine will not be hot.
