ok, when i had the 190 i paitned the grill black, but the car was also black, and there wasnt really chrome anywhere else on the car. My car is gold, with chome out the whazoo. Id like the paint he grill black, and get a flat hood badge, what do you guys think? i need some opinions, i dont know if the grill painted black will look right with everything else being the chrome moldings, and i dont have time to paint all the monlding, but i could totally paint the grille black no problems.

imho i say get the updated grill and leave it chrome....or photoshop it and see how it looks i could be wrong

leave the grille frame chrome, black out the rest, or if you're unsure at first.. i really like just the oem plastic itself black.

the chrome 4 strips inside of the grille can be easily removed

yeah, ive been thinking about getting the avant gard grill, but not too sure, i did a photo shop of the grill black, it doesn't look too, bad, i suppose, what do y'all think?

i'd go with chrome. It will look more classy with the color of your car.

Yeah dude, go for the avantgarde grill or paint the plastic black and leave all chrome as is. Both ways are OEM and since your car is champagne or gold, chrome looks fine on it. If your car was black, there would be no other way than an all black grill IMO, trust me! Leave the badge as is aswell, unless ofcourse you are into flat hood emblems, which im currently not.
