so this afternoon i was bored, so... i took my KLH home stereo bassbite2 subwoofer and put it my car, just to hear what a sub would sound like in it on my bose. well i have an ac/dc converter connected to the cigarette lighter attached 4 wires from the rear subs to the KLH , and it was thumpin, haha. this isnt that good of a subwoofer but add alot more bass. whatever this is the kind of stuff i do in my spare time. i took it out but im still deciding if i want to get a real sub,lol

Thats the first I heard but good job man! Did you like the sound? What do you find lacking in the Bose alone?

well it was more of an experiment. i just wanted to see what a sub would do for my c280. it definatly added mor bass, but since it was'nt such a high powered sub i really couldnt hear it, the bose has very good bass, i just want a little extra punch in the low end when i crank it up

haha, yes i know its ghetto, lol its not in there any more, it was in there for about ten minutes. i would't be caught dead with some ghetto rigged home subwoofer slidin around in my trunk connected to my cigarette lighter, i just wasn't sure if it actually could be done.

yeah, whatever for the ten minutes i had it in my car it sounded half decent, think i am going to get the infinity basslink, or a sealed new alpine type s with an alpine amp, do you guys think that either of those would sound good? im not experienced in the sub part of car audio, never had one yet

LMFAO I DID THAT TO MY VERY 1ST CARR. BUT I RAN A BIG OL EXTENTION CORD TO THE BACK, AND USED THAT RCA CONVERTER AS A INPUT FROM THE REAR SPEAKERS
