New member, my 202

Hey all Im Sam (17) from New Zealand and this is my C220. Only had it for a month or so, its great!

Here's a few photos of the stereo putting ive put in. Done all myself apart from carpeting the sub box.

Stereo consists of mainly exotic brand gear, you may not of heard of them.

Headunit = Alpine 9855

Ipod Controll = Alpine KCA420i (i think)

Front speakers = Rainbow 5.25 Components SLC model

Speaker amp = Caliber Ca475+ 75wrmsx4

Sub amp = Caliber Ca2000Mk2 2000wrms

Sub = Focal 33v2 13"

Soundeading = Dynamat, 16sq ft.

those wheels look so familar. that's a very rare color to see bordeaux red on a pre-update. decent looking car man :)

Car looks great!!! i like your sub and amp installation, but isn't it a headache if you need your spare wheel or tools?

The tyre, battery and tools are fully accesible. The carpet was trimed under the sub box and the wall with the perspex on sits on the crease that the boot carpet has there. :)

I would have no idea what your talking about aye. I know nothing about mercedes at all! If you could show me links or pics of c-Classes that are different too mine and tell me the differences that would be sweet.

I dont know the difference of the facelift or anything.

I'll consider any modifications as long as it is tastefull and classy;)

im sure ive seen you car b4, it was in chch with the number plate bxtrme, but anyway.

not a bad set up, im suprised you can get decent power out of that amp with only a single sub! there designed for way more...
gota love ipod kits in cars tho, there so handy, ive got a ipod video with a pioneer tv headunit to watch my music videos with :cool:
as everyone has said nice colour too.
classy upgrades you can do are a updated avantgarde grill, thats my latest and favorate mod.

Hey,yeh theres usually just two of us here;)

heres a pic of the updated front rear and sides,pick them up pretty cheap second hand from either startech or silverstar farms.
its a nice upgrade for the post-updated models...or you could just import aftermarket stuff like wald etc=)

If you buy them new you will need to have them painted,otherwise you could hunt down an already painted set second hand,pretty rare in that red colour though;)

those wheels look like carlsson 1/5 diamond knock-offs. if they were real, they would have a pretty clearly stamped carlsson on one of the spokes.

your rims remind me of the standard E class rims..but never seen them b4, maybe ASA wheels might of done them awhile ago. im rolling on chrome AMG monoblock replicas :P hehe
