is there a part for replacing the dated ugly cassette holder in the c36

yes the other options were a cd holder, storage compartment or a phone contacts thing if you had the car phone option.

I put a storage box in my 98C280 to replace the tape holder.

I bought it from the dealer for $36 Canadian. It has a light rubber texture and looks much better then the tape holder.

The Part number is A 202 683 04 91.

I originally wanted the CD holder but could not find it even at the dealer. Oh yeah the dealer said the storage box would not fit, but it fits perfectly it has the same mounting slots and holes for the retaining screws.
