My key

I just recently purchased a 1998 c280. It has a smart key but the previous owner gave me a total of 2 keys. one that looks like a regular key with not remote can just unlock the car doors and one smart key. i wanted to purchase another smart key. Should i purcahse one off of ebay and how easy is it to reprogram it. The MB dealership said it will cost bout $215-$250. Ebay keys cost bout $100 less. Suggestions please. Maybe another place i can get a key for cheap besides the MB dealership if possible. I live in Columbus, Ohio

you may as well get one of these new keys, it was $60 us for me but I think they have increased the price

definetly get the new key, now you can to my knowledge reporgrame the smart key, but its really not worth it, get a original key, they seem to cost really cheap in the states, and the new keys just look stunning.....
