Ok, took my cluster out (disconnected both cables and pulled it out) so i could install my chrome gauge rings... got those in just fine, put it all back together and plugged both cables back in, and put the cluster back in... everything works great, no probs except now the center LED read out for number of miles doesn't show up anymore... ???

One of the cables maybe a bit loose or something? Any ideas?

pull it back out and remove + reinstall the bulb. they have a crappy contact surface and they twist in/out. same thing happened to me!

The temp display still uses a bulb eventhough it's an LCD, on mine anyways. Like the previous post, reinsert the bulb/s. Also, the small bulbs are very sensitive that when I changed some of my cluster bulbs, it blew a couple ones.

Take out the bulb in question and make sure that the filament is still good.

Yeah i'll check that out, i have a couple other bulbs i gotta check too. Didn't realize they can get loose like that.

mines a 95 and there should be a light for both the trip odometer and the regular one that shows number of miles on the car. I checked with a flashlight and they are both working but no light, i'll take it out and check the bulb.

the digital reads are simply LCDs with a light bulb backlight. it's there, trust me.

Yes there is a bulb there behind the lcd which you can access from the back.

Yes, the milage LCD uses a 2w greenish osram incandescent globe...it's definately there, found the contacts aren't all that great tho... The temp should use a 1.2 blue-backed globe,,,same story.

Word of advice...if u're planning to fit LED globes (like i did) make sure that the polarity of the globe is correct when you fit them otherwise they don't work
