Gonna change the tranny fluid in my '95 C220. Understand have to know if
the tranny is electric or non-electric to get the right ATF.
How do I know which tranny I have?

Best way is to look in your owners guide or look on the dipstick. Alot of times the fluid type is engraved on the stick.

your tranny is NOT electronic. it takes regular dextron rather than Synthetic tranny fluid. this is what we use at the dealers - Mobil 1 ATF D/M. it can be found at any mobil/exxon gas station for fairly cheap!

Thanks. Gonna go with Castrol Dextron III conventional ATF. Stealership
said that's what they'd use if I brought my car into them.
