i noticed today that when i use my power windows my idle was dropping (while in park), and the heat (on high) seemed to drop a notch (i could hear it). also when i open the door idle didn't drop but i could hear the heat kick down a notch. anybody know anything about this??:confused: there was a big storm last nite and car was covered in snow ice, maybe it was just cold out??

Sounds like your alternator is taking the electrical load. This would reduce engine RPM with increased electrical demand if the battery was a little low in reserve. Make sure your battery is in good condition or you may get caught out.
