installing OEM CD changer questions

Hi Guys,

Need some help on a 1997 w202 CD Changer install.

I removed my Alpine setup a while ago and went back to all stock with OEM HU. But I did not get to installing the CD changer until now.

It appears the shop who installed my aftermarket system removed the factory CD Changer interface from the HU to the trunk.

Can anyone confirm the part# for the CD Changer interface please? I'll need to order it. I'm assuming all I need is one cable which powers the changer too? Or do i need multiple cables?

Also, are there any online instructions on how to run the interface from the dash to the trunk?

I cant help but i would like to in stall the oem cd changer in my car and was woundering if its hard

Are you sure they removed it and didn't just stash it somewere, Most of the time they wont take the time to remove anything just unplug and stash it under a panel or something.

I brought it to the dealership and they said it the interface was no longer there :(

I'll double-check tomorrow though...
