I was thinking of going the whole grill but for 144AUS shipped for the insert maybe I should just go with that?

Any advantage to going the whole complete thing?

If you get the whole grill you get all new chrome, just depends on the condition of your current surround!

I don't mind getting in on this if its around the $150 AU mark. Cos I can get the insert for about $180 from a store. But would much rather the whole assembly.

But whilst all the Aussies are here looking.

If any of you have a 94'-95' model and want a set of illuminous gauges for say $50 + shipping. I paid $100 for them.
I have a 96' model and they changed the gauges from then on.
I didn't know there was a difference.
Brand new. Can get pics if you want.
Just gathering dust right now. Just let me know.

yeah that would be cool ! find out how much you can get two in for. and let me know how much it ends up being with shared shipping. oh and then add how much you reckon shipping to sydney from you would be and let me know. i'm not in a rush or anything wasn't planning to get one for a while but when an opportunity arises you gotta take it !

I paid 55US for a similar size/weight package a while back.

yea well as he cant do any deals on shipping or anything we can just order independantly and it'd be $140 shipped AUS. this also means we dont have to worry about shipping the grill from melb to sydney

if we were getting 7 or 8 we could prob work out a deal but with just 2 its easiest to order on our own and its still a ripper deal really!

i got mine 4 months back from the same seller. it cost $147 shipped all up to aus.

definitely worth the money... totally changes the appearance of the front of the car and adds more bling to it

not that many modded mercs round sydders... but the ones that people modify look awesome. checkout tempetyres.com.au and ozzytyres.com.au and havea luk in the gallery sections and you'll find some nice examples.

my car hasnt been modified apart from being lowered and the avantegarde grill.. but thats about all i really want to do as it came with c43 amg kit and amg rims. the only thing i want to do is put some deep-dish 19s on it and i'll be happy as larry!

yea the merc's that i do see down here with 19's and the like look soo nice.

I'm lookin forward to getting this grill as I've been meaning to get one for the last 10 months! just been busy doing other things to the car!

19s are still a good few months away at the moment but they will certainly add some more bling to my ride.

you'll def. like the grill.. it really adds that special something to the luk of the front end. i checked out pics of your ride.. i wish i had a nice cream leather interior like that *dies* lol. ... somehow i got a mad luking exterior.. with a black cloth interior!!!

if you have a luk closely at the shot where the car has the old grill you'll see there is an indentation in the grill which was my reason for replacing the grill. i hit a bird travelling at 100 kmh. the grill got mashed but i did an ok job of fixing it up temporarily till i got one off ebay. .. grills and birds dont mix.. thank god it hit my grill though... missed the headlight by centimetres... and that wouldv cost me a fortune

looks niiiiiice !! i don't think you need rims. BUT if u did get bigger rims i'm sure it would look even nicer. especially if you get big deep dish rims.. :D
