I'm getting code P1711 when I get my codes pulled. It's the second time this code has appeared since the overheat and resulting head-gasket replacement.

BoominBenz's site tells me this:

P1711 -- Electrical activation of resonance intake manifold switchover valve

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
--Two consecutive trips with fault.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
--At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault
--The engine control module checks if Y22/6 can be controlled and transmits a message via CAN if a fault is present. The diagnostic module recognizes a fault if problems occur for longer than 2 seconds.

...

But that doesn't mean much to an idiot like me. Near as I can tell I've left something disconnected on the intake? Vacuum line? MAS is going out? Mouse-wheel and rubber bands need tightening?

The valve has a connector under the valve by the T/B. It has 2 wires on it. Very easy to leave off.

Hmm. Interesting. Will look there when I'm done with class for the day.

Interested in selling that C36? :)

It took me almost a complete disassemble of the intake before I found it! I had routed the cable elsewhere (when I did the headgasket job, most likely). I rerouted it back and hooked it up. Now the car runs WORSE. Hilarity!

Hint: the head gasket job was probably 4 years ago?

Edit: failed to read my own opening post in this thread. Almost 3 years to the day!
