I have a 1998 c280 and everytime i get out of my car my head lights come on when i shut my driver side doors. Its kind of annoying at night. Is there a way to shut it off so it dont turn off or not be on as long.

Second is i have a old 1995 c220 radio cassetter from my totalled car. I want to put it in my 1998 c280. What i want to know is if it would work. I have bose speakers behind my back seats where the head rest are. but the doors I'm not to sure if it is bose either. Can anyone help me out with it. Do i have bose speakers?

The headlight behavior can be changed with Star diagnostics. Chances are, you need to go to the dealer for this. I don't think there is any other way to accomplish this.

As for the stereo, if the speakers say Bose, you have a Bose system. Sadly, I don't think you can use the HU from the 95 in the 98, as I think the 98 HU used fiber optic to connect to the Bose amp instead of copper wires. Hopefully, another member can comment on this.

what radio thing are you taling about if its the dumb little cassete holder thing then yes it will work, if its the deck itself your talking about then no.

pull the fog light fuse and it probly will stop i mwan you really dont use them at night so pull the fuse and i have a question about raidos i have a 99 c280 and it has a tape player and i want to put the oem 6 change cd player is that somthing i can do. its kinda In baresting having a benz with a tape player and non-heated seats.

I like to use my fog lights in the mornings when i dont want to use my head lights.. This pisses me off bc the other day i was looking at my headlight (passenger side) i need to change the light bulb bc it needed to be replaced and i saw that the previous owner had melted the cap that goes around the light bulb. The only thing i can think of to change it is to replace the whole light bulb. Im deciding if i should get and oem head light or try and find projectors again for my car like the ones i had on my c220.

What do people think about the 1 pc head lights i been seeing on ebay.

Looking for a HID kit to. Where is a good place to order it off line for a decent price. Cheap if possible kind of on a budget right now
