yes, you can pour it into your engine, but DO NOT DRIVE OR REV THE ENGINE. you have to leave the engine idling for 5-10min, and then change the oil and filter. since your engine has high miles on it, expect new leaks to show up, especially around the crank seal and timing cover. you might also notice a blue smoke out of the exhaust due to oil leaking past the valve seals. a safer alternative would be to use a high detergent motor oil, such as mobil clean along with detergent additives such as CD2 oil detergent or marvel mystery oil.

Is it still beneficial to use this nenad? Will it be better for me to use it than for me to not?

Really don't use seafoam unless you drive like a grandma. The carbon on your pistons and other places should be clear. Just my opinion. I've used it on other cars. Not bad stuff to clear your injectors, but otherwise, you are good to go.

hmm well I have poured it into my oil a few times, and have yet to have any leaks.. I have over 113k, (which is not much compared to some, but still a lot of miles) and it seems fine. I do it every now and then when I feel like burning around 10 bucks, it makes me feel better, just like the redline fuel system cleaner in my fuel tank does. I have also poured it in my gas tank at full and half tank. When i first did it I reported better mpg, but since after its been about the same. I have replaced my fuel filter and lines, and it was poured after replacement, I also run only 91 gas. On a side note at my best I have seen around 24mpg doing mostly all highway, stupid mercedes reports this thing to get 27 mpg, and I usually get 22-23mpg and I coast and don't drive hard at all anymore (usually 75mph), at $3.4/gal who can. I got the idea to use seafoam from omey, and while I cannot speak to if it works to clean out whatever it cleans in the oil, (how am I suppose to know??? Maybe omey can explain?) I assume it does its job. I have read some good things about it and a few of my friends have told me it was good stuff so I keep using it every now and then. It does however dry up some oil, so whatever that matters to you. And while more $$$ does not always mean a better product, it certainly is the most costly fuel cleaner at autozone, for whatever that is worth to you. I have yet to try it in the tb or where it goes to clean out the exhaust, I just assume I will get a custom one sometime so there is no need, better used in the gas tank. While a long and convoluted post I admit, I report no problems of what ned is saying, for reference I use mob 1 syn 1030, but am planning and trying out rp soon, I hear its better than redline.

my 99 c280 gets 27mpg at like 90% highway, 23-25mpg mixed. I drive about 80-90 on the highway, but pretty conservatively in town
I have 111-112k on my v6, i wonder if it's safe to use any type of motor flush treatment on my motor....especially since it'll be the first time (AFAIK, got it with 90k)

My 96' C280 gets 27 on the highway at ten over anything.160K.
I've used Seafoam in the fuel, intake and crankcase of my W201. If you're using cheaper, non-detergent laden fuels (Costco, Convenience Store, Etc) then it's a good product to use.
When putting it into the intake (throttle body or vacuum line) make sure you have someone to blip the throttle and be out in the open since the engine will bog and there will be quite a bit of smoke.
When added to the crankcase, you can either idle the car or you can moderately drive it for 10-20 miles before doing the oil and filter change. Last month, before adding it to the crankcase, I checked the Mobil 1 Synth and it was the typical amber color. Added the Seafoam and drove it around. After letting it cool down some, I used an oil vacuum to suck out the Mobil 1 . . . it was completely black from the dissolved carbon.
I flushed out the bottom end with a half bottle of Mobil 1 so that the vacuum came out clean, then refilled and put on a new filter. The stuff works.
