the dealership from which i bought my car put a metal badge on the trunk lid, they used some type of adhesvie pad. i managed to get the badge and most of the sticky crap off but there is some that just wont come off, any sugestions?

Goo Gone and Goof Off are sold at pretty much every grocery store, Target, etc.

I'd second the combo of goo gone, and perhaps a little hair dryer (not heat gun) to soften up the adhesive.

i know this will sound weird, but fly spray works really good. spray it on and leave for about 10 sec then wipe away with a cloth.
trust me i have done this many times.

i used heavy duty hand cleaner!! it said that it removes glue off of my hands so i tried it on my car. that and some elbow grease with a rag worked for me

thanks in the end i used a clean rag and car soap and water
took a while but it worked, but i discovered they used it to hide a scratch:mad:
