Installed magnaflow exhaust, VIDEO!!

Hey guys. just got my magnaflow muffler installed finally. it sounds sick! i made a video, tell me what you guys think. the only problem i have with it is there is some annoying drone, and it sticks out to far for my taste, mybe i can adjust it, its bolted on. Enjoy!

haha,thanks green lantern these rims are cleaned about once a week, damn brake dust gets on them constantly when clean they look really nice, rollin on 15"s lol

wow wow i did not think magnaflow sounded that good, damm i thought thay sux when it comes to europen cars i was going to get eisenmann but i dont know now. But is the muffler the only thing you did to your exhaust i mean thats loud just for a muffler........................................... ....... O also what is the name of the song on your video you know the one that sounds like its oprea.

thanks nelson, its by wagner, i think it is excalibur theme or something like that, thats what i searched for under limewire, he has a lot of famous songs.
Its stock all the way up to the magnaflow, stock resonator, cats, kand n air filter. unless there is something i dont know about, hehe, im just not used to it yet, still kinda missin my quiet benz, nvmd not really;) it sounds beastly

OK thax your car does sound like a beast and you better of not doen anything els because if i put magaflow on my car and it doesnt sound like yours im gonna find you and steal your car ( i know mercedes are like unstealable but what ever) o ya i have a 280 too but yours is a inline 6 right cuz mines a v 6

yep pissed me off when i first noticed that they make a exhaust for every other car but not mine! i got mine for 108 on summit. for some reason every other style is 150, but the best looking one is 108 haha

I love the MagnaFlow and how it sounds, but after a month of driving with it in the sun/rain - it faded a gold tone. :(

in order to get proper sound from mangaflow you have to use a magnaflow resonator as well to clean up the low and high rpm range. W/ high flow cats it transforms the sound. Don't worry on the headers. I am trying my hardest to get the stuff out ASAP. Thx

NICE :) well thats baiscally two mufflers one acting as a super resonator... thats probably going to be a very quiet setup... but it will make great power

Damn what a nice soundtrack. I haven't pulled out my RATM albums in forever. They were parked next to my copy of "three dollar bill ya'll" I think the opera sounding tune was actually from "Lord of the Rings". I think Howard Shore did the score for that trilogy though so I may be totally off base.

Oh yeah, the exhaust sounded sweet too :cool:

yea mine turned gold, it becomes completly gold during rainy weather, then after a car wash I polish it back to the chrome looks. its actually very annoying that it does that.

I dont know if its running lean or burning oil, It doesnt smell too good ive noticed that but what can cause this problem ? the car shows no symtoms at all - no CEL, no smoke, runs perfect gets pretty good gas milage > always run 91octane, new spark plugs engine bay bone stock!

only thing ... can it be the Cats. ? I know ive hit them pretty hard on speedbumps and I mean HARD putting dents in them. :(

I hope its quitish!,its a straight through setup so i have my doubts,it will definatly keep backpressure down=)

haha,23k with your engine setup i dont know if your car could be quiet. lol by the way your car is beautiful, love the wheels, body kit, everything.

my car's gas pedal feels more sensitive now, im guessing that is becuase of a slight increase of power. so i guess magnaflow did something right, while sounding cool!!

that setup will be more quiet than you think, maybe even too quiet. Dunno what you are going for but i doubt it will be too loud, not even close. Looks awesome though, well designed exhaust system 23k.

i let it warm up for a couple minutes before, and i couldn't of redlined it, it only revs up to 4000rpm in park or neutral.

For autocrossing on sunday, what psi should i run in my tires, the first time i ran it at stock psi 32 rear and 28 front +/- a few pounds , im thinkin 40-45 psi this time, thats should improve handling some right?

Pretty sure my exhaust will be very loud on any N/A 4 cylinder MB,having a turbine in there is almost like adding another muffler...it helps big time!

this is the 3rd full exhaust system that has been done on this car...i did do a 4th time but only half of it.

The previous straight through systems i had were unbearable,but that was before we added the turbo...
i guess it all depends on muffler configuration,location,size, shape and deadening material for the final outcome...
