I have a c36 and i want it sounding louder/more aggressive

I also want to keep the square tips. i like how they look on the w202

my question is

if i buy this

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=757

1- will it work with my car
2- will it be loud/aggressive

thanks a lot

as an alternative; buy high flow cats, remove the resonator and wait for omey's m104 header

edit: if you buy that, i'll take your C36 muffler.. ;)

just replace your resonator with a 3" pipe

hehehe classic. What he is getting at man is that there are a lot of other things to look at in an exhaust system than just a muffler. All the stuff he listed will help improve exhaust airflow as well as giving you the deeper more aggressive exhaust note you are looking for. Point being, you can spend your money more wisely with research, and ultimately get more bang for your hard earned buck.

I took the res out and it made no dif. I ended up replaceing the muffler and keeping the tips.

Hey vcruiser, I just sent you a PM.

Would you be interested in trading mufflers?

Looking forward to hearing from ya.

do you get that annoying "soda-can" rattle at higher RPM's ? I noticed I got that after I hollowed out the cat.s on my C230. ive also got a Magnaflow exhuast. its sounds grumpy at about 3000k RPMS similar to WRX's

how the hell do you hollow out a resonator? wouldnt it be easier to just got pep boys but one and get a peice of pipe welded on?
i figure it maybe less time and most cost effective.

( time = money , money = time)
