doing some major custom work to my 202

just wanted some of u guys opinion.....i was planning to sell my w202 i had it for a couple of years now but decided to keep it since i have a baby on da way...so my goals are a two tone paint job black on top n a grey on da bottom kinda liek da maybach look...with grey rims with chrome lips dunno if i should go 19 staggered 19x9.5 rear / 19x198.5 front or 20's with 8.5 all around? i got the smoked out l.e.d tail lights now so ima leave those but im debating on da head lgihts if i should go with the 1 piece black jdm housing or the 1 piece chrome?? if nebody got da one piece black housing on a car already please send me pix!!!

I run 19"s staggard like you said 9.5 rear/8.5 front, no serious rubbing issues even though I have a 2.5" drop. I dont know about 20"s man - with the baby thats not going to be a comfy ride even if you do just cut your springs.

the correct tire setup for staggard 19s is 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear

the tires i got arw 235 30 19 front n rear its 265 30 19

i've thought about 2 tone on this car and i don't think it'll compliment the body lines very well, otherwise i'd say go for it. I love simple 2 tone paint with the darker shade up top.
i'd be afraid of 2 tone making the car look like ass.

I think you should definitely change those rims... also paint the chrome stripes too.. and since your smoked your tails and corners, paint your grill black. If you want that black out look, get black rims too.

the tails look much better tinted. in fact, when i was looking for tails, i considered those b/c they are completely smooth and great for tinting. i think they are hideous otherwise!

Here be a coupla two tone shots. They aren't with a black base, but you get the idea. Also, they all have been slightly moddified elsewhere, such as maybe the roofline might be a bit lower. :)

quite honestly, it just doesn't blend well with the lines of the car - it completely changes the look and makes it look out of place.

And the photoshops above, where the color starts at the moldings, reminds me of trucks and shit

here is a 2 tone car that was for sale in my area. I also saw it at a car show. Seeing it in person, the 2-tone does not fit the car at all.

inbetween the two tone colours are you going to have a colour line to seperate the colours?
