my tensiioner shock needs replacing, im curious i did some searching and know that when i replace the tensiooner shock i should also replace the tensioner. does this mean the entire assembly or just the tensioner pulley?:confused:

The tensioner shock can be done by itself without removing the entire unit. The rubber gasket goes bad and causes it to clack clack clack. Before I replaced it I put a rubber washer in there to silence it and it worked great (placed inbetween bolt and mounting bracket.)

I took off the water pump pulley to gain access to the tensioner. It took a little patience.

well i already bought belt, adjusting rod, shock, and tensioner assembly, someone please tell me how to put these on??:rolleyes:
