i recently got my license and was fortunate enough to get a '95 c220 as my first car. everything works great but the only problem is the power locks dont work. the lock unlock switch doesnt do anything and when i put the key in the lock it only locks/unlocks the door that the key is in. i have to unlock the other 3 by hand. i think the vacuum pump is loose/broken, but i dont know how to get to it/where it is.
can anyone help?
thanks

if you can hear the pump, then you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Check the vacuum hoses connectors first. In the trunk, passenger side, behind the carpet moulding, at the side, you should see yellow hoses going to a central box. Sometimes, the connectors are either frayed or cracked. Not sure if the location pertains to a 95 C220 but does on my 97 C230.
