Shortened 8mm allen wrench-where to find?

Does anybody know what auto parts may carry these? I've looked at Pep boys, and all the other crappy ones and can only find standard length allen wrench and allen wrench sockets.

I am taking the fan clutch off my c280, and I need a shortened 8mm allen wrench. I got the fan off in about 5 minutes. But now I'm stuck, can't get anything in there.

Sears maybe? Or am I going to have to make a trip to the dealer?

there is a tool kit for MB and BMW fan clutch removal, but costs about $100. or you can get a plain allen wrench and cut it. I have both. :D

I found a tool to hold the clutch for 52 bucks and the MB socket for 22.

What could I cut my allen wrench with? I would think it would have to be pretty precise, I could not imagine how pissed I'd be if I rounded the bolt out. :(

I used the plasma cutter.:D

I would just cut it with a hacksaw and file the end perfectly flat, easy and inexpensive.
