Hey guys,

I'm interested in replacing control arm bushings, but without having really looked at what I'm getting into, I have a few questions.

1) do they need to be machine pressed?

2) are they sold seperately at the dealer, or do i have to purchase the entire control arm?

Obviously if I have to buy the entire control arm, then the first question is irrelevant. Anyway, I'm not interested in aftermarket alternatives, as I hate the noise and feel associated with poly and nylon bushings.

So when I went to go look up some parts, I found that there is only left and right control arm... but no front and rear designation? Is the car not double wishbone all around?

I also saw that there is an OEM bushing kit.

Not having spent much time under this car, I'm not sure what the anatomy looks like. It would be awesome if somebody can get me a list of parts that I need to be ordering to do the job -- I just would like to replace all LCA bushings and ball joints.

control arm bushings are sold as a kit per arm, so you would need two kits. each kit includes both the front 2 bushings and one rear bushing.
