one of my fogs went out. took it out, bulb was shot. replaced it with new nokya yellows. still doesnt' work? fuses are fine. I see the wire goes into a relay. any suggestions?

lol.... i started having the same exact problem with my c36 about two weeks ago....I'm gonna try and fix it tomorrow..

I have had the same problem since I bought my C36 last year. Somewhat academic as we don't have fog in sunny Brisbane!

i had this problem too, ended up being a bad solder on the foglight, where the wire attaches to the fog, re soldered it and it was fine.

Well while doing routine maintenance on the car I noticed my lights dimming while idling. I checked the alternator and it was going bad only putting out 12.5 to 13 volts. I was surprised I only had the 90-amp OEM alternator so I swapped it out with a 143-amp alternator that was made for a 95 s500. All I had to do was swap out the pulley. Cost was 177.00 for the alternator.. To my surprise my fog lamps started working fine again...go figure.

GOD DAMN... loooks like ill have to take my bumper off and have a better look...
whats ur cars voltage with that alternator...?
