I'll be changing the spark plugs pretty son, does anyone know if the wires just pull out or do they twist off? also do i have to pull out the 2 things on top of it to get to the other 2 spark plugs. Btw i got some iridium spark plugs, there Gapped at .4.....anyone know the gap size?

Yes the other plugs are under the coils. Always try to twist ther wires before pulling on them. It helps break the seal and leasons the chance of the wire breaking.

Not sure what car you have. I can tell you the C230 Kompressor is 1 mm but if you are going for iridiums I am guessing you don't have a Kompressor.

>>there Gapped at .4.....<<

BTW, do you really mean .04 as in .04 inches? .039 inches is equal to 1 mm.

I have a 99 C23k, and theres 0.4mm Gap already. Autozone told a gap of .44 for the c230, but alldata told me 1.0mm soo im confused on which one to go with. I'll have it done by today if i get all the right info, i might just have to call up the dealership to find out.

The .40 gap you have is in inches I bet. What Autozone told you was also in inches. Check the other post and youll see.

That is referring to the diameter of the center electrode, not the gap!

most newer style plugs are already pre-gapped to THEIR specs. dont forget that iridium plugs use less voltage to fire, which means the gap has to be smaller that with stock copper plugs.
