Trying to multitask in my office today I didn't realize that I was hyjacking the "wheel mass" thread with this so I made my own.
So I've got narrowed down to a few styles and would appreciate some feedback opinions. Iforged has qouted me the best deal and are one of the few left that can make a 17" reverse lip.
Iforged Senaka:

Iforged Flux:

Iforged Swift:

Iforged Equip:

These wheel choices truly show I'm scatterbrained. I like them all with the equip being my favorite at the moment......so difficult to chose. I'm leaning towards the center color to be paint matched silver to my car or brushed finish. Simple and timeless opposed to gold, black, and things that become trendy.

I'm a sucker for "y-meshies" like the senaka. The lip on those equips are sick though. I would assume you have nice looking brakes since you have a C43.
Thats the only thing holding me back from getting rims without a big "face". My brakes look weak.

peace please, don't take offense, but I just have to say "LOL"! That's one I've never heard! :p To think back, I used to be a 'newb' once too.
The answer is most certainly no. There's a lot of different kinds of rims with various permutations of bolt patterns, bore size and offset. Mercedes uses rims with 66.56mm bore, 5x112mm bolt pattern. Then there's the all important offset front and rear. As I've discussed it countless times and others have discussed it cummulatively orders of magnitude more then just I have, please do a search for terms "offset" and "bolt pattern". Oodles of reading material to get to understand rims used on the 202.

Oh no!! just the pictures are chrome. Best pictures I could find and they just happen to use chrome on all the examples.
I liked the swift this morning I think...:D Oh man..

How much do they want for a set of 17'' Swifts?

Through a wheel shop sponsored on mbworld they would be $1850 for the set. 17x8, 17x10
Wheight will be similar to C55m80's at maybe 21-13lbs each?? Spoke design was a factor in my deciesions....

I like Equiq the most I think. Sometimes you're surpised when a rim gets on a car, where it looks way better off. I think that would be hott tho.
BTW, have you explored this manufacurer? www.jlinewheels.com
Here's some specs I was e-mailed:
The SDM is a little heavier than most of the 2pc wheels mainly due to the rivets. Those rivets add approx. 3lbs to the overall weight. For example, a 10RL2 in
17x10 with a low wheel disc will weigh approx. 18lbs.
The lightest wheels in low wheel discs will be:
10RL2 approx. 17-18lbs.
16RL2 approx. 19-20lbs.
7RL2 approx. 20-21lbs.

Check out J-line wheels. They have great prices on 2 piece and 3 piece plus offer reverse and stepped lips. That's who I'll be getting my wheels from once I get back from deployment.

Those do look pretty nice. Pricing is good also. The lighter models don't jump out at me in regards to style. However, if I could get an 18lbs 17x10 I would be thrilled.
I sent them an email as well. The plot thickens....I now have more choices and I promised myself I would have my deposit sent and construction started by mid May. The horror of indecision!!!
What do you guys think they mean by low wheel disc on that qouted email? I have a feeling they are reffering to how thick the hub section on the wheel is behind the spoke. Kinda like the closer the face is to the hub the lower the wheel disc?? Any idea, am I in the ballpark??
So I wonder if the 18lb qoute was using some ridiculous offset where the wheel face is at the back of the wheel like you see on some wide body cars.

Sort of. Not necessarily the depth of where the dish connects to the outer drums, because that doesn't affect the weight. But rather wheels that don't have a large Caliper Overhang Distance between the hub mounting surface and spokes, per these diagrams:
https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
(1/2 way down) The larger the distance the more material in the center hub.
However weight there doesn't add much to the moment of inertia; just unsprung weight. And it seems even at that they're pretty light by most standards.

i personally like the Equip and Seneka design because they both look like deep-dish rims

Thanks guys. I keep telling myself that I do like the equip best. The Jline wheels have me interested because of weight. I've tried emailing them a couple times but keep getting it returned. I'm going to attempt to contact Jline a couple more times.
For the centers I've decieded on two options and need a little opinon.
-Brushed center
-Silver center to match car
both with polish lip.
