the sound in the second video was much deeper, now i see what you were talking about. pretty good video, an informative comparison between the two. hows South Africa this time of year?

Thanks, but the imageshack link is actually useless, they really cut down on the quality there.

It's autumn, going winter here...now i can really reap the benefits of a CAI!! (oh, how i love winter now)

Ok, this was taken from inside the car, with the windows up save for the last clip. watch the ASR at 40 and then at 60. Also, notice the lack of low end acceleration, this intake took most of it away....

and what CAI is this exactly? Custom? I've been looking for a CAI for a while now and so far all I have come up with is buy a Weapn*R intake and fashion a cold air box for it, Unless anyone else has a slightly easier way....

Come on stop being a benz newbie lmao. if i wanted a WAI sure why not lmfaoooooooo, that thread will go down in history! does it rain alot where you are? my main concern is that when it rains it florida, it rains redicoulously and water and air filters don't get along.

you don't have to mount the filter to the front spoiler air intake, you can keep it tucked under the hood mounted reasonably close to an air inlet. that should get rid of any potential rain problems you are worryng about

No, it doesn't rain all that much. It only rains in summer, in winter it's dry as a bone.

But WORST OF ALL, Johannesburg (where i live) is 6000ft above sea level, so i lose a whole 18% of my power due to the lower air pressure. I can't express how much this sucks

What does imao stand for?
