View Full Version : A/C Evaporator drain
It appears that the evaporator drain on my car is clogged. Is this a DIY to clean out, or do I need to leave it to the shop?

you can clean it yourself. shove a stick in there and it should be alright. it seems crude, but it works. LOL

You can see the evaporator drain from under the car? Does it look like a rubber vacuum hose? Can you think of any other way/reason that the A/C could work and not produce condensate? Will get under the car tomorrow and check it out

I'm with howellja here! I have condensate dripping from both sides of the bell housing, but I'll be buggered if I can see where it comes from. I guess it is one of those things that are easy when you can finally locate them!
