wuts going on guys, im rollin around in a blacked out 98 c280 and was wondering if it would be cheaper if i took the original grill off my car and paint it black or purchase a blacked out grill off ebay.
my concerns are if i take it off and paint it would it look as nice as the lossy black to match the paint. and paying 100+ for possibly a low quality grill. can anyone also ive me a tutorial on a DIY grill. thank u very much

Black grills look awesome on blacked-out 202s so my opinion is definitely go for it. If you want that glossy look you can easily achieve it y using the same black your car is but make sure you sand the metal frame first so you wont have any stone chips marks on it after a while. The plastic can be easily painted black. There are some 202s with blacked-out grills or just their inserts in members gallery. Go have a look.;)

Go to a color-making shop and make some black, matching your own car duddde!:rolleyes:Or open your hood and check the metal plate in the front, yours is probably the 040 black.
