Shifter knobs

Will a MY2000 leather OEM shifter fit on a 99C230K? Basically, are OEM shift knobs from 98-2000 interchangeable?

All 202 knobs are changeable with one another. Autos stick to Autos, Manuals to Manuals.:rolleyes:

my 94 cant just screw off though, you need a new shaft adaptor for a new knob. but i guess they could still be interchangeable with the adapter

I just had mine off. In the 94 c220 there's a nut that's tightened down to prevent it from unscrewing by hand. I can't see why yours would be different.
