Upgrading a c230 to a c230k

Hey everyone i have a 1998 c230 and I was just wondering is their anyway that I would be able to upgrade the engine to get the same response or if not exactly identical power of a c230k? I know alot of you must think its a waste of money but if its not an insane project i would really like to give my c230 a boost or a lil push :D

There is much more to the 230K than merely an added supercharger...

understood well is there anything that i could do right now I am just looking to make it identical what would I need to apply other than a supercharger? new suspension? A WHOLE NEW ENGINE? new transmission?

theres a super easy way! sell your c230 and buy and c230k. Cheapest way too.

Yep. 230K's prices are falling and you can find a 99 230k pretty cheap. That would be the much better investment vs. modding what you already own.

yea but i honestly didnt pay nething for my c230 so I really wanna keep it I just wanna move it up so then it wont be the slowest thing i dont care the cost but all i really wanna know is if it is possible or if it is just a waste of time

haha but in all seriousness first i wanna see if I will be able to boost the horsepower by i guess upgrading to a c230k if not I guess i will have to move on to an Audi A4 3.0 quattro or a Bmw 330i

I have done a CAI, chip, and exhaust with my 230 NA, and I can say that those things definitely helped with the power.

since you didnt pay for the c230 trading it in for a kompressor would be the right thing....short and simple hehehe:cool: and if you want that extra edge buy a sport;)
