Hi guys,
My 1996 c200 has an air conditioning problem which is that it wont blow hot air at all even when adjusted to hot on dash.
Also, when A/C is on and i look under the bonnet, the air conditioning metal circle doesnt spin (sits on one cogs spun by the belts) Has any body had this problem? any solutions would be most appreciated.

No nothing about cars? gee thanks.. Actually i know nothing about air conditioning. Up untill I cleaned out my filter behind the glove box, the fan would only blow cool air with no heat and not paticually cold. Only my two side vents blow air. What would the reasons be for this? I dont think its eletronic however could it be related to the climate control located up by the lights on the hoodliner? I hear this buzzing for about 10 seconds once a week when I turn the car on.

>>ya but is it vacume or electronic<<

Vacuum. Do a search. This system has been discussed here multiple times.

That is the air sampler fan/motor going bad. Do a search for post with information on this somewhat common issue.

Cheers for the help guys I really appreciate it. The problem is now fixed and it was neither vacume or electric. The problem was that the ducts had been closed due to the fact the arm which opens and closes the ducts had snapped.
