Hey guys,
The intake prototype has just been completed and I want somebody to test it out for me. it should be a 100% drop in plug & play intake pipe. Would anyone be willing to test it out (preferably a M104 C280 W202 member )? If so let me know.

I have a c230! i can test it out! its just the cross over pipe right? from the throttle body to the MAF? I have a CAI coming from the other side of the MAF, so this should be perfect to complete the system.
If everything works out, then I might be the first to purchase this

yes it is the piece that goes from the throttle body to the MAS. it will have OEM oil breathers built into the pipe just like the stock one. It will be a powder coated black aluminum pipe for a true OEM look. I will have pics as soon as its finallized 100% but it should be ready in the next week or two.
thx

Hey guys,
One of the biggest reasons I wanted to do this is for those C280 guys who didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for C36 pipe (not to mention they are almost impossible to find). The final price will be as long as possible (hopefully below $150, maybe even as low as $100). I will do my best to keep price as low as possible. It should really help those C280s out there breath alot better and will further improve any gains already made by those who have upgraded the section 1 of the intake (before MAS). This section 2 will help maximize airflow throughout the entire intake system up to the throttle body (that will be something to improve in the future but right now can't do it).
I found a tester for now. I will let you know the results in about two weeks, got alot of other stuff I have to prepare for but things are looking good for both the intake & pulley stuff. I'll post more news when I have it, thanks

I'd be willing to test it, and could probably do dyno before and afters.
Car is completely stock too btw

i have a car 97 c280, but i made my own intake and the part that goes over the engine.... i dont think its efficent as this maybe.
this is just a replacement for the original OEM intake, just the same part but made of aluminum?

its been delayed simply due to over demand of my other products. It is in development but the problem is minimum batch for production is 50 units and at those prices thats a lot of upfront capital. We are still pursuing it. We will make it slightly bigger than the OEM unit as well with slightly larger openings at the front and rear of the intake pipe for maximum airflow for the C36s. hope that helps.

got any kind of time frame on em?and maybe diagram pictures?
and are you gonna keep them stainless steel with black powdercoat, or carbon fiber?oh and is it gonna have some sorta heat shield?
one more, is it pretty much a direct replacement with brackets and all, or is there gonna be some modifying?
thanks.looking forward to them

We have chosen to go all out and go with top quality Carbon Fiber for numerous reasons. It looks the best, it does much better job of insulating out the heat, and it is very strong (will never break). We are hoping to pursue it by the end of 08 but no garauntees.
Our M104 pulley is literally being wrapped up as we speak and the first batch is getting sent out ASAP. That is the #1 mod for the M104s, the intake and headers will be nice too but as far as power, nothing beats the crank pulley.

No, I am don't worry :) . M104 pulley has had most of my attention, but now that it is officially done as of today I no longer have to worry about R&D for that and I have moved on to new projects. I am trying as hard as I can to move forward but again its not easy building products to this level of quality at this speed, needless to say I am trying my hardest
