Thats what im thinking. Its either the fuel pump, fuel filter or fuel pump relay :(
This is the first car that has ever not started on me.. I thought better of mercedes. Thats life tho I guess.
Ill keep you guys updated as to what the problem is and ill try see how the mechanic fixes it so people on this forum may be able to do it themselves in the future.

Central locking is not working either is there a link between the fact the car wont start and the car wont unlock? since central locking is open and closed by vacum pressure right?
Please help me out im desperate to get my merc goin again!

Check your battery?

I had the same thing happen to me, wouldn't crank, locks stopped, and it was the battery. I was stuck in a parking lot, luckily my friend's home was two minutes away.

The locking system is run by an electronic powered vacuum pump. When my battery went south, so did my locks.

Thanks for the advice man it actualy turned out to be that me ECU had short circuited and I had blown a fuse in thing which picks up the signal from the remote to lock/unlock.
Charging up the battery was the first solution I tried but was dissappointed when this didnt solve the problem. If anybody has this problem occur to them, feel free to PM me for more information.

funny thing, just a couple nights ago Sacc230's car did the same thing! :D

I came out to help him, I sprayed a little starter fluid down the throttle body which got it to fire up for a few second, like three trys and tapping the gas pedal and it fired up normally. still seems to be working fine.

Fuel filter- no way (unless extremely clogged) will it cause this.
Fuel pump relay- thats what were looking into replacing soon.
Fuel pump- better be sure that its the exact cause because these arnt cheap.

hope this helps you! id try the fuel pump relay.
