hi there everyone!! while i was driving my car to reach my first 1000 miles, i noticed something when i did a u turn... while making the u turn, i slammed the gas just to see whats gonna happen, i noticed the warning light (the one in the middle of the speedometer) blinking...after the turn, it stopped. i tried to do it again to see if it will happen again and it did. is this normal for a c43? your info will be much appreciated. thank you

If your referring to the giant orange triangle that just telling you you're losing traction and the ESP is working. Turn of the ESP and it should stay on. No problem whatsoever is happening.

ESP is a safety feature that doesn't let the car break rear traction. It's NOT a toy... until you're ready.hehehe

Seriously, I don't recommend driving with it off.

From what I have read elsewhere, you can never fully turn the ESP/ASR off via_the_dash_switch. If your car senses you are getting too much loss of traction at some point it will still do at least a portion of its routine (braking and/or power reduction) even with the button pushed to off. I know the newer w203s have a sequence you enter by pushing buttons (on the air-co panel?) that will let you enter a test mode that will shut things down completely so that you can run on a dyno.
