changing AC contole units

dose any one know what the difference is between the 95' ac units and the 96'....i want to update my (95) c36's ac control unit to the new one but im not sure if it will work/???

different shape/size. i'd assume different wiring as well but i would have to check. 94-95 are different than 96-00
