I need to raise my 2000 C230 Sport. I'm currently using H&R Sport springs with #4 pads in the front and #1 pads in the rear.

Again, I need to raise my car, but I dread returning to full, stock height. Does any have recommendations for the "highest" lowering spring for my car?

I checked both Eibach and H&R websites, and didn't find anything. So, I wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas. Ideally, I would like to lower the car .75" to 1" from the stock height, leaving a 1" gap between the tire and the wheel well.

Thanks.

Highest lowering springs? What a paradox LOL. Eibachs dont our car as much as your H&R's. Check out bish0p's ride. He has on thicker spring pads too. http://www.club202.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11500&perpage=15&pagenumber=3

eibachs with thicker pads are the way to go. personally i don't like my car slammed too low because the road here in my town is ghetto and i got a rieger setup.

Do you have a picture of your 202? I'd like to see how high your car sits. On Eibach's website, the drop for the Pro-Kit is 1.7" front and 1.8" rear. On H&R's site, their Sport springs give a 1.4" drop in the front and a 1.3" drop in the rear. So, if I currently have the H&Rs, then I definitely do not want my car to sit lower.

He has a clean ride. However, and unfortunately, my car needs to be higher. One inch higher all around would work. I just do not want the four-inch gap all around with the stocks.

This is why I am thinking about using the stock springs with #1 pads in front and #2 pads in the rear.

don't have pics at the moment. i just check out the eibach site, and it does seem like it says that 230 has 1.8 drop. i have a 280 so according to the site the drop is 1.2.
i still think eibach has less lowering even in your case. maybe some of the more qualified fellow members can comment on this.
and u might want to consider the option of stock springs and thin pads. though not as good handling, but better ride and possibly cheaper replacement cost.

Update: user tpliquid here in the San Francisco Bay Area raised my car over the weekend. The guy is legit!

I'm using the stock springs and #1 pads in the front and #3 pads in the rear.

My cornering is shot. However, it rides very smooth. And, I can park it in my driveway! I'll post pictures before (lowered) and after (raised, stock) pictures shortly.
