Is there a recommended interval for changing the O2 sensor
('95 C220)? Have heard they should be changed around
100K. Thinking of changing mine rather than waiting for the
dreaded check engine light to tell me. Anyone know
who's got the best prices for this part?

Why change it if it isnt bad? I can see having a spare incase it goes bad. But that isnt a part that gets replaced until it fails, just like coolant sensors, knock sensors, ect..

I change mine every 50K miles. it pays off with the improved gas mileage you'll have then if you waited 100k miles or the sensor's failure.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who believes in preventive
maintenance! Where do you get your 02 sensors?

Checked the 02 Sensor site and see the Walker/Bosch
universal sensors are half the price of the OE ones. Do
you know if the universals are any good?

they are fine, but you will need to splice them into the old one's connector.
