View Full Version : Dubs finally arrived!
Hey guys,
The 20's finally arrived after waiting since december :o
There is no rubbing whatsoever and the ride feels the same as when I was riding on stock wheels  from what everyone has been telling me I was expecting the car to handle like crap but it must be the bilstein and eibach combination compensating :)
I will get some pics up tomorrow!

looks cool!
those types of packages can make you wonder what everyone is always complaining about ride quality wise eh?
i'm sure that does handle and ride very appropriately for any normal driving use.

god damn, that the most gangster shit I have ever seen in my life! Are they staggered, or just 20 * 8.5? I am going to run 225/30/20 up front, is that what you are running?

haha thanks guys yeah that's it ocklasse 20's are def not for handling :D but it's still fine for everyday driving as expo was saying
they are 20x8.5 all around (only option with this wheel) on a 35 offset no spacers with 225/30/20 tyres and cruise control still works too lol

are your headlights all fogged up?
yeah the projectors are sent with pretty crap glue so I siliconed them but there is still some fog getting in on the side, gotta pull it out and do it again
so did you have to call p-diddy to find out the location of that wet and well-lit alley?
yeah man I got him on speed dial he is one of my favorite photographers lol

What is the photo location? It is definitely appropriate/compliments the car.
yeah its a good place to take photos, they aren't that good didn't use a tripod and the car had some mist on it from the rain.. it's in australias capital canberrait lines up with the war memorial at one end across a lake and the parliament house at the other end

sorry to thread jack, but my i've got some problems inside the headlight cavity i need to get to but the previous owner sealed it with silicone. is there any particular way of removing the lens after it's siliconed?
hey I think some people put it in a warm oven so it melts and you can remove it but sometimes on the aftermarket lights inside there is other glue that holds pieces together so you don't those pieces falling off.. maybe you could try using a scalpel as silicone is pretty soft

the silicon should be easy enough to just peel off. You can try to use an exacto knife to get it going. as for you fogging lights. if it's not too much water try putting silica gel in the back housing of your headlights. It's those little pouch things that you find in like shoe boxes. It keeps moisture out. If you can't find that then there's this powder kind of thing that they sell at walgreens. It's used for damp rooms, what it does is just absorbs the water in the air. hopefully that works for you.

the style of the wheels, ehhh its alright, not something i would pick, but its not my car:D. what i think you need is the stock chrome trim around the car, maybe chrome mirrors, and chrome window surrounds like the jaguars have, now that would be baller. oohh and the chrome door handles, not the ebay things that go behind them, the oem ones, my car has them.
hey c280nz, it's been lowered on eibach prokit and bilstein sport shocks with +1 pads, can't go any lower at the moment because of insurance reasons, if they inspect the vehicle and it doesnt meet requirements they walk away and you pay all damages.
yeah bishop i'll give that a shot maybe before putting silicone again!
and jre, I guess it's hard to swallow in your area, there are different styles in aus most young guys like me with modified euro's are on 20's, I think they look fucking tough.
anf yeah that chrome trim for around the car was thinking about that but i am getting all the sides painted midnight blue when I get the brabus front and c36 rear done, will look cleaner!

It's not fucking tough enough for me. For me it's a disrespect to
the vehicle your driving and you know what I mean. :o
On the other hand to each his own. ;)
haha disrespect to the vehicle I like it and so do most other young people I know over here, the car snaps necks ;)

hell yea.
good work, I think they look very nice. awesome photo shoot too!
keep it up!
i say whatever floats your boat. I admire anyone who does sometihng different. It's been said a million times but a lot of 202s look the same. Lowered with clear corners and 18 or 19 staggered amgs or brabus.
everyone might drool over a car like jstrat's but to me it looks like every other 202 out there.
people don't understand WTF ocklasse was thinking but i think it's one of the best looking 202s out there. clean, simple, wild rims and an even wilder suspension. i might even like it less with the wald kit on (the frabus would have been sick).
Not exactly my taste in rims but he could have done much worse. Plus he's in AUS, I have no idea what people are doing over there. No doubt half the people there are modding their 202s with lowering springs and brabus rims, and throwing on some clear corners. Oh don't forget the avantguard grille. But what are the creative people doing?
Not knocking one side or the other but you gotta commend a guy for doing something different.
I never though i'd put chrome on this benz. I got chrome rims cuz I needed tires and these were about the same price as new 16" tires. Now that I have them I look at the benz completely differently. I'll never do the whole euro tuner thing to any benz that I own now or in the future. Maybe a vw. If I had the money to burn I'd bag the benz on chromed 20s and throw chrome trim everywhere (not literally).
