For the last year or so , every time my mecanic pull the code I get a error in one of the O2 sensors. I have ask him. why dont we change it ? and he reply that it is not necesary..
So my question is ..
What can happend if I dont change it? Whta is the use of the O2 sensors?

Let me know who he is, so I know not to go to him.
If your O2 sensor is bad YOU NEED TO REPLACE IT. It tells the ECU what your air/fuel ratio is. It sends a voltage reading to the ECU & depending on if it is high/low the ECU can then add the required amount of fuel, by cycling the injectors properly.
Not sure on your V6. But on mine, I only have one in the passenger exhaust manifold.
