I have got a set of a mint 18" amg monoblock et31 18x8 all around for my w202 c280, fitted with brand new 225/40/18 firestone wideoval tires and got them balanced... after they were fitted I have noticed that my car started to shake & vibrate at about 55MPH and vibrates more once I go faster, I feel uncomfortable with this shaking, and BTW the car have a completely stock suspension and the shocks have been replaced a month ago if that helps.
any help will be appreciated
thanks in advance.

Could be the tires, or it could be a bend that you didn't notice. Maybe one of your wheel weights fell out?

so your saying the car shakes or the steering wheel? does it shake front and rear? if you can explain it a little more in detail maybe we can exclude certain things. from what your saying the wheels are in mint? is it possible there is a bent wheel? are the wheels off a mercedes or they aftermarket?

The offset of the wheel play a major factor. You should have gotten ET35 instead of et31.

I feel the whole car is shaking especially when going more than 55MPH , the rims are out of a w210 and they are original AMG's.
I well look for any bents on the rims that may i haven't noticed and I'll keep you guys updated.

im gonna vote its the crappy firestone tires.
I mount and tires myself at work, and I dont think a fallen-off wheel weight can be such a noticable effect, so you may cross that off the list.
next up check your rims that they are all true, mounted properly and all lug bolts are correct size also torqued down correctly.
in your case, I would try taking your car to a differnt shop, just to see what a they find, if the same shop sold you Firestones and mounted them - of course they will try to say its anything but the tires.
wish you luck!

255/35/18 is too wide for a 18x8 ET 31 up front.
