2006 C230 Sport Removing Front Rotors

I have removed the wheel, the caliper + assembly, brake pads and the rotor hex key. I have sprayed the center of the rotor with liquid wrench and given the center of the rotor a number of blows from an mallet/hammer. The front cross-drilled rotor did not come off. Please help.

Can't think of anything you missed. Is there a lot of buildup around the center hub?

I hate to say hit it harder, but you may have to. Please not your car is 12 years newer than mine.

why are you changing the rotors on such a new car anyways?

go to autzone and buy a 3lb dead blow hammer. put one of the lugs back through the rotor about half way so the rotor doesn't fall or fly off. then aim and swing as hard as possible hitting the actual surface of the rotor rather than the hub. don't worry about the dent it will make....your replacing it, HAHA!
