O2 sensor locations

Hi all,

I pulled up an engine code P0150 on my C43, which says "Bank 2 Sensor 1". As with most people, we question which one is which. A search on this forum and on mbworld provided 2 different answers, can someone put this to rest once and for all?

Assuming left hand drive cars..

This thread says Bank 2 is the driver's side. (http://www.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=68871&highlight=cat+converter)

This one says Bank 2 is the passenger side. (http://www.club202.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11928&highlight=bank)

At least we know sensor 1 is pre-cat and sensor 2 is post-cat.

Any insight?

On the first Thread link, he says 1-4 is passenger's then writes thus bank 2 is driver's.

Looks like a typo to me.

Most of time the driver side goes bad on the sensor.

bank 2 is the driver's side, and sensor 1 is the upstream sensor.
