Does anyone have these AMG monoblocks on their car?

Thanks

edit: on second thought, not sure if I still fancy this look, plus it might be too much work to get the best fitment

still up for public comments tho;)

sensoryx, posting this response to your PM here as it's too long for PM... and nothing that needs to be 'private'. ;)

Front 18x8.5 38mm Offset 235/40/18 and Rear 18x10 40mm offset 265/35/18
I think I would need 2mm spacers in the rear. How do tire sizes work? I think 235 in the front and 265 in the rear is too big for the w202?These two links will tell you everything you need to know...
Wheel Offset Calculator: http://err0neous.org/mbz/offset.html
Tire Size Calculator: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html

I would compare both tires and rims to the stock C43 AMG specs to determine the difference in widths and positioning within the wheelwell.

FRONT C43: 17x7.5 ET 35 rims with 225/45-17 tires
REAR C43: 17x8.5 ET 30 rims with 245/40-17 tires

Working with rims first...
Punchng the numbers into the wheel offset calculator you find

Front: The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 16mm LESS ; The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 10mm

Rear: The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 29mm LESS ; outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 9mm

The rear is a big blinking red light to me! I'd say use a 10mm spacer in the rear for sure; that'll center the rim and extend in and out the same amount from the stock AMG rims. In the front, the 2 or 3 mm spacer could be used, but you can most likely get away with nothing and no rubbing. Will handle better if you extend the fronts out a bit more to the point before rubbing.

Switching to the tire size calculator on Miata.net... Punching in the stock AMG tire sizes compared to your numbers...

You find the speedo will run 5.4% slower with the 235/45-18 tire. Not acceptable to me. Your cruise control might not work if your rear tires are smaller then 25" rather then also slightly bigger; or you might get more tickets ;) . You'd be better with a 245/35-18 tire, as that's about the same diameter as the stock 225 tire (speedo would run 0.9% fast).

For the rear, it could work OK. Speedo would run 2.4% slow. not great but more acceptable. And if both front and rear are bigger, cruise control should remain working. I think it's better to go slightly smaller than bigger tho. (so the speedo runs fast, and effectively give you the equivelant of slightly shorter gearing). 255/35-18 would be better IMO.

Hope it wasn't too confusing. Use the two links. They've served me well over the years.
