yesterday while i was testing out my new rims i floored the pedal, no problem wiith the acceleration but i noticed that i over revved it. question is how come it didn't shift before the redlne? is it supposed to do that?

how much over the redline? my c280 usually goes about a 1/8 of an inch over the red and then shifts, sounds nasty:D

c43 transmission programming is known to be overly aggresive and will hold gears and then shift with a unearthing thud, it will raise rpms, lag in acceleration then all the suddent accelerate and over rev. this could be the cause for much tranny faluire in c43s
