Hello everyone,
I own a silver C280 sport. Sometime in the near future I want to do some performance upgrades. I have a few thousand sitting around and want to get the most out of my money.... any thought/reconmendations would greatly be appreciated

~Thanks. Stephen

Im looking at Kleeman supercharges and it looks like it would fit. ..has anyone ever installed one of these if so how much did it cost? was it a lot of work? any problems? and how much does the supercharger itself cost?

hmm.. are there any other ways to increase the hp without dropping 3k. Im kinda leaning towards a drop and thatll leave me with less money.. any cheap performance upgrades anyone??

haha we need to almost use this as a direct quote in a new
"FAQ section"

sorry for being so negative and not offering any decent advice in your post :(

il ask a reasonable question to help answer your question with more info.
is your car the I6 or is it a v6

probebly with a v6 the supercharger should be an easier option, or if its the i6 i would go with a turbo setup.
you will need some sort of piggy back ecu to add more fuel.
and you should be able to gain "up to" 100hp with a cost of around that 2k-5k range depending if you use second hand parts, mates rates etc.

for cheaper upgrades you can get performance chips for your car.
and the standard exhaust and intake performance upgrade, that come with the expected compromises,
id also keep an eye out on omeyhomey's work, your car model may come up

Sell the C280, and get into a C43, or C32.

ya and our cars have very high copression ratio and alloy piston so 100hp isn't possable with out changing one of those two things to get that much from a turbo

the M104 is much stronger than the V6 and it can take a ton of abuse, V6 cannot take nearly as much but it is a nice little efficient flat form for its age.

if you have the I6 C280 a C36 motor swaps right in, flash the ECU and your good to go! :)

~Thanks. Stephen Stephen, did you see my thread on swapping out your engine to a C36 engine + ECU + tranni + wiring harnass?

$5000 takes the whole thing.

no one, you will have to mod naturally aspirated: intake, exhaust, chip, pulley, etc

... again, Kleemann SC is only for the V6 (1995 W202 is I6) I also think they stopped making it years back due to lack of interest. Happened @ the same time they had a major price decrease in the V8 SC.
