hey sups guys.... i was coneidering purchasing a good radar detector for my w202 and been going around the bush of the V1 anywayz.... i was recently on ebay and came across this....

jus wanted to know wut u guys think... this is a really expensive mod but my other option are the custom thin faceplate that can basicly be modded anywhere which is very versatile. jus want some opinions... any other advice would be great.

if u currently have one... plz show some pix of placements and likes/dislikes about it plz... ur help is greatly appreciated

$600 just for the install - Ouch! Don't they have a model that is a two piece where you install the sensors in the front and back and then mount the thin display in your dashboard or is that from Passport? Still, spending close to a grand just for radar detection is for the "speedracer" at heart. Good luck with your decision though.

a grand is a bit much.... now to think about it...and yes u are talki about the V1 cept they dont come in a package the thin display is custom...

As a former V1 owner. I have to say... 'no worth it'
I bought a V1 just for the heck of it even when I no longer sped. Didnt have fun with it and I lost 50$

If your gonna get somthing custom go with the http://www.escortradar.com/srx.htm

Escort SRX with Lazer Shifting.....Very custom install, and it'll save your ass when a cop is pointing a lazer gun at you, i would know i have one!. They even come with LEDs that you can just stick into your AC vents.......now thats even more stealth

holy helll... starting price on custome install for 1500 ... thats a bit way too much on wut im planing on spending on a radar detector...

you can find them on ebay for pretty cheap.........install is what kills ya..........I did mines my self, its pretty ez, your gonna need to drill into some parts
