Anyone know at what temp the auxillary cooling fan(s) (my '95 C220 has two) are supposed
to go on? Is there a way they can be tested?

with the ac off, they will automatically(without any input from the driver) engage at 100C.

I would like mine to come on a little sooner .. what would be real nice , is if they came on at least half speed below 0-5mph.. moving all that hot air through the engine bay would prolly increase component life of the engine .. or do you guys think it would just blow hot air into the engine bay from the radiator

When does the mechanical fan come on? I know it turns on right away then shuts off for a bit, but am unsure of its complete pattern. Had removed yours? I know when kleeman install their kompressor systems they remove that fan, suppose not enough space for it. On a side note, any chance I could maybe get an answer to my pm in a week or two? the mechanical fan retains its normal function. only the auxilliary fans' input is modified. I'll try to get you the answer to your PM soon.
