Need C36 fog lights

I need to replace both fog lights on my newly aquired C36. Other than the MB dealer, is there another source for these? I checked ebay and nothings listed.

What a coincidence as I am in the same situation.

You can get these from mercedesshop. Here are the price quotes and part #'s as of yesterday 08/06/07 (for the 1997 C36. Not sure if this is the same for 95 and 96):

Do you know how much the dealership was going to charge? Because mercedesshop is an independent part store. So I was hoping these prices were cheaper!

I was quoted $521.50 each at the stealership!

Wow. Well, in that case I guess $314 isn't too bad then :p

This will probably be tough to find used, since not too many C36's were manufactured. But it might be worth calling/e-mailing online pulled-parts places in case they so happen to have a wrecked C36.

But this really is the proverbial needle in the haystack :(

At least we know these parts are still available though!

Sucky part is that you have to replace the whole assembly. :(

In later years, you can just replace the lens.

Yes they are new from my local MB dealer. I get 20% of book list. you would have to pay tax and shipping. I would say close to 600 total. but no returns once an order is placed.

Yeah, it's a 97 Designo Red. Still trying to find out if there are any others out there in the US.
