I couldn't help it. I really could not stand the suedo CF so I had to fix it.

Nice job! Did you do these yourself or source them out?

I am willing to pick up a few projects a month. The trick with the interior stuff is that it is OEM trim sanded down with Carbon Fiber layed down over the top. The backings for the dash and consol are too complicated to duplicate within a reasonable $$$. Therefore the raw parts either have to be sourced from a junk yard, etc., or pulled from your car. The Carbon Fiber laying and finishing process takes about a week to a week and a half.

I also have NO issues with trading CF work for parts I want for my 230.:)

hey, thats great news...i love the look and that would look on on my black 1...and i have no problem sending mine off to you...i can do with out for a week...if i take them off the sides on the car..can water get in? and how do i get them off on the inside without breaking them?...and also what is the price on this going to be?...cause this would be really cool to do...

Thanks. I had thought about an R1, but I wanted to travel.

To do all the interior trim, $500. Add pillars, $700. I think there is an ebay kit for the pillars < $100 which is cheaper than I can do it for, but I am not sure of the quality or UV resistance.
