pretty sure it is 130mph on all non-amg's in the U.S because of the H-rated tires are only rated for up to that speed.

I know it does 120 because thats the fastest I took mine on the freeway...The speedo goes to 160 so I'm sure it will do more than 130...??

Good question otherwise...I would like to know.

My governor started to kick in around 135, felt like the gas pedal just disconnected or something.

I work at Mercedes-Benz to start off, i've been told that all later model Mercedes' are governed at 149mph. if your pedal feels like it doesnt want to go it does'nt mean that the limiter has kicked in - it just means your not giving it enough space to reach that speed. although I havnt passed 130mph (never needed to  ) the onwer of my car before me showed a video hitting 140mph in a stock C230 on H-rated tires.

H-rated tires means its not recommended for speeds over 130mph, however, it does not mean that they will blow out as soon as you hit 131mph. there is more heat involved at higher speeds due to the friction - heat means altering of the tire pressure and since the tires have a big soft sidewall it is more likely to give out compared to lower profile tires which have a harder sidewall.

so, im almost positively sure that givin enough space + road conditions and a cooler temperature to keep the engine from overheating, you will hit 149mph on stock tires.

I must include that I have tried to provide you with as many facts as I knew, believe and been told, so please drive responsibly and dont attemp things you read off the internet, not everyone is perfect in providing information. :)

The limiter can be removed but it involves remapping the ECU.

Ive been passed 130 so it has to be beyond that.

Speeding is dumb.

Anyone seen those like valve stem holders that "keep your stems from "flying off" from rotational force?"
